ACTION 2.4

To devise a plan to address school failure and early dropout by improving early diagnosis strategies and personalised monitoring

Overall, although particularly with regard to children in a position of vulnerability, it is necessary to improve the strategies for diagnosing and monitoring learning disorders, and to follow up on cohorts of students in order to examine the reasons for these disorders and to set out specific plans. A reorganisation of the working hours and training of teaching staff will be necessary, with the same action applying to other professionals, in order to increase tutorial action and personalised guidance functions when necessary, above all at the most complex schools.
