To approve the statute of the artists to grant them the employment and financial security to which they are entitled as cultural workers

The statute of the artists is a long-standing demand from the cultural and artistic sectors which calls for the establishment of a legal framework to guarantee the conditions needed for the performance of their activity. It sets out aspects such as training and educational background, recruitment, taxation and intellectual property, among other areas relating to the professional sphere of culture and the arts. Current regulations need to be amended to bring them in line with the professional circumstances of the sphere and to grant the employment and financial security to which artists are entitled.
